When - Our first day will be October 4th at my place
What - We will create 4 cards - 2 of each design & a matching box
Who - The card-making community worldwide, including hobbyists, beginning card makers, manufacturers of card-making products, retail sellers of products, educators, and press are invited to come together to celebrate this holiday and creative passion.
Get your friends together & have a couple of hours of fun! We will be having a day at my place to celebrate World Card Day and feel assured that all will have fun. I have only just pre-ordered my stamps, supplies etc to ensure that we have a gteat day. I will post them on the blog in the next couple of weeks & email everyone an invitation!
WHY - It is a great way to connect with fellow card makers both near and far, to applaud the creativity that powers the craft, and to provide an opportunity for card makers to connect and find resources that will empower, inspire, and encourage them in their card making.

Gather your fellow card makers and host a party using one of these themes -
- Christmas card making. There’s nothing so satisfying as knowing all of your Christmas cards are made before the hustle and bustle of the season sets in.
-Learn a Technique. Gather friends to learn a new technique or how to use a product in new ways.
- Charitable card making. Make cards to cheer up hospital patients, encourage soldiers, or offer Christmas wishes to nursing home residents. Make a box & 4 cards for a pressie for that someone special.
-Pamper pajama party. Treat your girlfriends to a relaxing evening of card making mixed with comfy PJs and spa treatments. In between creating, offer stations for guests to have homemade facials, manicures and pedicures, and foot massages.
- Hold a pajama/slumber party for the smaller girls & their friends. This is bound to prove a hit. All the kids love craft these days. Get 6 or more together and I will come to you! No supplies necessary - I will bring everything required to make a box & 4 cards...
