Summer MIni-Catalogue Launch

Hi All,

Well, we had a great arvo having the launch of the Summer Mini & SAB Catalogue with lots of laughs & story telling, cups of tea, water & drinks!

In fact, the time went quiet fast & none of realised how fast the time had gone!

I must say a big Thank You from Shirley who drove all the way from the South side of Brissie to attend the get together!

It proved so successful that in the future, we will be having a get together once every 2 months for a get together - no reason, just an arvo of stamping and having fun and laughs.

One of our projects was a Calender, seeing as though it is the start of the new year. I took the idea from the card below.

Receipe -
Cardstock - Not Quite Navy, Greed Galore, Pumpkin Orange, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Stamps - Eastern Blooms
Inks - Pumpkin Pie, Not Quite Navy
Accessories - Scallop Punch - what a great punch this is & so very easy to use, SU Dimensionals, SU Snail Adhesive, Matt Pack, 2009 Calender

Hope u all enjoy!

The next launch will be the last Sunday in January, so be sure to book in. This one will be 2 Valnetine projects using 2 different stamp sets from the Summer Mini & sure to be another huge fun arvo.

Please contact me to book your place now!

Until next time, have a greata day!

SU New Tagline

Stampin' Up! has a new tagline

Three simple words that communicate so clearly and succinctly that we do -

Inspire. Create. Share.

These words will be in English for all markets to keep our logo and tagline consistent throughout the world.

'Quite a bit of time and effort went into the selection of these three words,' shared Shelli Gardner, 'and we feel that they perfectly sum up what makes Stampin' Up!--and you--unique and appealing. This tagline will soon start to appear everywhere our logo does because it's important that we consistently tell the world that, while "stamp" is in our name, Stampin' Up! offers much more than stamps!'

This has just been released by our office today! Personally, I think these 3 workds suit SU perfectly!

Card for Today....

Good Evening Stampers,

Well have just received my pc from the Dr - yet again! Then to find that the same problem is persisting is enough. I am going to start the whole thing myself, so I may be off the air for a couple of days....

I have just made my brother's Birthday Card - tomorrow - so hopefully it will arrive in time...

I have basically used the same supplies & colours as the previous one, but changed a couple of things, to give it a different look.
Have a great evening

Card of the Day...

Hi All,

Well, have finally gotten round to doing a couple of cards! We have heaps of birthdays coming up in the next couple of months - in fact, they are full of them! This year, I have promised myself to be ready & early to the post, but alas, have failed with the first one.............. Things happen!

Receipe -
Card Stock - So Saffron, Ballet Blue, Chocolate Chip
Paper - DSDP - Spring Flowers
Ribbon - 1" Double-Stitched Ribbon - Chocolate chip
Accessories - Snail Adhesive

If you notice, I haven't mentioned any stamp sets! I did this on the computer, as I couldn't find the letters or stamps that I wanted & was in a hurry for it to catch the mail - which of course, it didn't - but I think it gives it a totally different unique look, still the same.

I have a small project I did with the kids on Friday, taken photos of it, but now of course I can't find it, but will continue searching & post it tmw

Have a great night

Vicky

Newsletters

Hi All,

The latest newsletters have been emailed & the posted ones will hit the post tmw arvo, so should have them by Thursday/Wednesday.

I have attached a small peek at one of the 3 cards which will be part of the Card Kit Club starting this month. Don't forget that you must let me know by 15th of the month so that you receive your kit by the end of the month. I am really excited about this Club & hopefully should prove very popular, especially for the ladies, girls, nanas, uncles, etc who cannot make classes/workshops - you are still not missing out.....

Over the months, you will be using the same stamps but have 3/4 different cards/projects to make each month - this way you will surely get great use out of the stamp set & get you on your way to stamping.

All cards come with complete instructions, photos & envelopes & will not be posted on the blog till way after we have finished the stamp set. This way, the cards are for you exclusively!!!!!!

Tomorrow, I am going to try to post a small calender which I am getting ready for the "Tiny Tots" class coming up & also a scrapbook page for the older kids which is also coming up as well.

Hope you all enjoy

If you have any queries about the newsletter or anything, please do not hesitate to contact me & I will only be too happy to answer them for you

Take care

Happy New Year

Happy New Year Everyone!

Hope your year will be filled with fun & happiness!

We have a big year ahead of us as I have so many ideas going around in my head, I am just a wee worried that I will not be able to get them all done.

I had complied the newsletter last night - about 5 hours - and got up this morning to find that the file is now corrupted and YAK, I have to start again, so now I won't have it out to you all today!

Will work on it again this arvo & fingers crossed it will be out tmw.

Take care

Vicky
